Cottary, Balmaha

- The Cottary is situated in the village
of Balmaha, on the east side of Loch Lomond in Scotland's first National
Park. It is a semi-detached cottage which dates from the mid-18th
century and has a typically Scottish facade. It is accessed by a private
drive off the Balmaha Road (B837) which has electric gates for privacy and
security.
- There are three bedrooms upstairs and
the master bedroom has a balcony with views over Loch Lomond. The
grounds are in excess of 5 acres and run down to the loch side.
- Opportunities for outdoor activities
abound. You can take a leisurely stroll down to the loch side or you can
hire a boat, knock a golf ball about or you can fish on the loch. There are walks on the doorstep; Conic
Hill and Ben Lomond is a twenty minute drive away.
- You can take a stroll along to the
Oak Tree Inn and enjoy the ambience of the bar with the roaring log fire and
real ale.
- You can take a drive, and visit Stirling
Castle (45 minutes away) or go to Glasgow for some retail therapy
- Short breaks available November - March
- Or you can do nothing except enjoy the
peace and quiet!
